Sink or Swim

Call this a wave,
A wave we wont drown in,
But a wave made of sin.

To wrap it's slippery fingers around our
Perfectly sculpted,
Beautifully painted,
Throats.

But to sink our tiny ships,
To make heaven simply fall from our lips,
I'd have to give the wave what it wants,
But I refuse

To
Drown.
